The Role:

We’re looking for an exceptional General Manager to run our operations in Calgary. This role will be based at our Calgary office and will work directly with the Director of Operations. We’ll be launching in Calgary in February of 2023 but this role is available now.

We’re growing fast and are looking for a dynamic team player who has the ability to plan, coordinate and adapt quickly as we scale our operations. You’ll be responsible for having a pulse on the city at large while hiring and training a team to execute on the day to day operations. You’ll be customer obsessed and will stop at nothing to earn and keep their trust. You’ll have the opportunity to make your mark alongside some of Canada’s most passionate and talented people.

What you’ll be doing:

• Curate the food available on our platform by sourcing, recruiting, and managing relationships with local partner restaurants and kitchens.

• Ensure the partners on our platform are successful by helping them with menu rotations (based on customer feedback), ensuring food quality/consistency, and coordinating co-promotions and specials.

• Seek out and collect meaningful feedback from customers to further improve the food experience on our platform. Work with new and existing partners to implement this feedback and exceed customer expectations on food variety, quality, pricing, and value.

• Hire, train, and schedule our delivery drivers to ensure the timely daily delivery of items to our customers.

• Work closely with partners on food ordering and inbound delivery, or outbound pickup by our drivers, of meals to our warehouse.

• Manage the inventory and food wastage at our warehouse. Ensuring accurate inventory accounts and that what we have on hand is properly reflected in the app.

• Work closely with the support team, pitching in as needed, to ensure any customer issues are resolved quickly and with extreme satisfaction.

• Report results, track performance, and identify opportunities for improvement; extracting insights and guiding actionable changes that will accelerate performance across customer ordering, partner success, and delivery efficiency.

Who we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of relevant management experience
• A business or related degree or equivalent work experience
• Experience hiring and training a rapidly growing team that was pivotal to the customer experience while maintaining high standards and customer satisfaction
• Experience managing daily operations while also coordinating with multiple teams, including marketing, sales, operations, finance, and product.
• Strong operational acumen and the ability to create new systems, roll up your sleeves and make data-driven decisions to drive results.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $77,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
