CTS Engineering, Inc Hiring for Accounting Specialist Job at Fort Lauderdale, FL Full Time

We are seeking a qualified Accounting Specialist to perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping and financial tasks at our corporate office located in the Fort Lauderdale area. Candidate will be assisting in a fast-paced environment. To be successful in this role, candidate must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, prioritizing and completing tasks effectively with the ability to work independently.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform activities related to the accounts payable function including matching purchase orders to Invoices and processing payments
• Prepare invoices for clients including cost reimbursable, time and materials, and fixed expenses
• Compile and organize invoice backup documentation to comply with client invoice specifications
• Provide administrative support, maintain electronic and paper filing systems that includes, at a minimum, records of all transactions
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned

Skills and Requirements

• Strong Microsoft Offices skills (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Effective follow up and follow through skills
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment and effectively interact with colleagues across all functions and levels
• Ability to adapt and find new ways of understanding problems or improving processes

• Must have strong work ethic

Minimum Qualifications

• 4+ years of related accounting experience
• Demonstrated proficiency in Excel

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,406.00 – $55,820.00 per year
