CT Orthopaedic Specialists Hiring for Recruiter, Temporary Job at Hamden, CT Full Time

THE OPPORTUNITY: Connecticut Orthopaedic Specialists is a growing healthcare practice based in the greater New Haven community with a strong commitment to providing excellent care and customer service to our patients. The Recruiter will assist the HR team attract and hire best available talent in multiple healthcare-related roles.

For the right candidate, this position could become full time and responsibilities would be broader in an HR Generalist role, capacity.

Part of the work week may be managed remotely but will require a minimum of 3 days in office.

Essential Responsibilities

• Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
• Seeks opportunities for additional resources for attracting best talent to our organization- job fairs, employment opportunity webinars, engage with social media platforms.
• Engages in the UKG HRIS system for applicant tracking and the recruitment process.
• Works closely with recruiting team for division of responsibilities
• Works closely with hiring managers to understand their the positions they seek to fill, requirements, locations, etc.
• Collaborates with recruiting team & Marketing Director for company’s internet postings of positions, keeping it updated.
• Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants or directs them to responsible party

• Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.

Education/Experience requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent related work experience.
• At least (3) years of recruiting experience.. Healthcare arena a plus.
• SHRM-CP a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 10 lbs at a time.
• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organizations facilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

COVID-19 considerations:
The HR department is separate from clinical operations. We mask when we leave our individual offices, responding to CT positivity rate. Prolonged meetings require masking.
