Management Accountant – North Ryde

Part of the CSR family, our Construction Systems Business Unit comprises of Cemintel™ Fibre Cement Systems, CSR Hebel and AFS Walling solutions.

We manufacture and market a full range of products for residential and commercial applications including a large range of products and systems that cover internal linings, residential and commercial façades, flooring, and innovative proprietary wall and framing systems.

About the role
We have an opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant to join our team in North Ryde. Reporting directly to the GM – Finance, this role is a key support for the Construction Systems Head Office team.

Some of your responsibilities will include

• Compilation of all corporate reporting packs including forecast/budgeting/stewardship/monthly reporting
• Responsible for reviewing internal control policy compliance and supporting documentation
• Managing budgets, forecasts, and five-year planning process for head office/overheads
• Owner of GPS loading of budgets/forecasts
• Responsible for CS risk reporting
• Owner of the stewardship review process
• Consolidation of month-end results including commentary
• Completion of Head Office and National balance sheet account reconciliations
• Responsible for preparing and liaising with the Tax team for FBT, R&D, Transfer Pricing & Income Tax requests

Knowledge, Skills, Experience, Qualifications
You are a Management Accountant or a Financial Accountant with 5 years of relevant commercial experience.

While some prior exposure to manufacturing will be advantageous, it is not essential. What is essential is your can-do attitude, attention to detail and ability to think strategically. You are also eager to provide valuable insight to inform better business decisions.

Other valuable skills are:

• CA or CPA qualified or working towards
• Excellent communication, ability to influence and engage stakeholders
• Manages risks and takes an analytical approach
