About the role
Due to internal promotion, we currently have an opportunity for a Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst to join our passionate and high performing Construction Systems team based in our modern office in North Ryde.
Reporting directly to the Finance GM, you will utilise your exceptional modelling skills, you will provide sound financial planning and analysis to the Construction Systems Business. You will be responsible for developing short- and long-term planning models covering supply and demand, addressable product markets, S&OP.
Your role will be key to meeting the changing demands of the market and assisting in the formation of short to medium-term strategic plans and delivery of financial targets.
Some of the duties of this role include:

• Coordinate the budgeting and long-term planning processes throughout the business unit
• Coordinate and manage forecast process including

• Developing templates for forecasting at a regional and consolidated level
• Developing with business forecast assumptions covering growth factors, product mixes, general price increases, and strategic initiatives

• Coordinate the S&OP process including

• Ensuring Sales, Marketing, Logistics and Operations are engaged and own respective forecasts
• Own S&OP Model including modifications where necessary
• Ensure data integrity of information entered into the S&OP Model
• Be the point of contact for S&OP transformation team

• Working capital management

What do you need to be successful?
This is an incredible position for an enthusiastic finance professional that has some solid technical experience and capable understanding of large and intricate financial models.
You are CA or CPA qualified or you are working towards the end of your professional qualification (CA or CPA).
You will also have:

• 2 or 3 years of relevant commercial finance experience
• Exposure to IBP, manufacturing or building industry will be an advantage
• Strong Excel skills
• Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
