Marketing & Media Coordinator
If you are a marketing professional with experience in a lab environment or the scientific industry, this may be a perfect role for you. You’ll have the opportunity to combine your voice-of-the-customer knowledge with marketing tactics to effectively communicate our ability to understand and help each client with their lab informatics needs. You will be responsible for coordinating all marketing efforts so meticulous attention to detail is a must for this position.
This is a local position that supports flexible work environments. Some travel is required.
Job Description
This role combines strategic communications, coordination, and project management across the entire marketing department. It is an exciting opportunity for a highly organized and driven candidate who has the ambition to play an active role in cultivating brand awareness and driving lead generation. You’ll develop and execute plans to orchestrate the customer journey within and across our business, crafting a strong customer lifetime value. The successful candidate will possess an eagerness to learn and take on new responsibilities as opportunities are identified. Additional job duties are as follows:
· Manage the full webinar process each month.
o Topic development, timeline schedule, synopsis review, email communications, Zoom maintenance, PowerPoint edits, dry run moderation, survey creation, and attendee follow-up.
· Research, budget, and coordinate involvement at tradeshows.
o Negotiate sponsorships, order booth furniture and utilities, develop literature and signage, coordinate manpower and speaking engagements, order promos and exhibit material, shipping, travel arrangements, etc.
· Organize and execute marketing campaigns across several media channels using best practices.
o Social media, Google Ads, digital advertising, emails, etc.
· Work closely with the Scientific Copywriter, Digital Marketer, and Multimedia Designer to develop robust, high impact content, collateral, and other go-to-market materials.
o Website, blogs, email, landing pages, literature, white papers, podcasts, webinars, and videos
· Manage the marketing calendar and enforce deadlines for requested items.
· Maintain website presence using WordPress.
o Front and back-end SEO, branding, content, HubSpot API, etc.
· Stay up-to-date on marketing and lab informatics industry trends; adjust marketing strategy to adapt and stay relevant.
· Communicate our value and offerings in a customer-facing role.
o Webinar presenter, conference speaker, article interviewee, podcast moderator, etc.
· Work with and assist senior staff with research for potential future business opportunities.

Experience
· Bachelor’s in marketing, business, media/public relations, communications or related field required.
· 5+ years equivalent experience in marketing required.
· Background in science or lab informatics is required.
· Extensive experience managing multiple marketing projects.
· Demonstrated skill in brand management and lead generation.
· Prior experience giving technical talks, educating peers, or presenting online.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
· HubSpot and WordPress knowledge a plus.

· Ability to communicate complex concepts, converting information into compelling business context and advice.
· Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
· Think creatively and have an eye for design.
