Under the direction of the VP of Nursing and Pharmacist in Charge, the Nursing Recruiter will coordinate the recruitment and hiring of nursing staff for the Pharmacy.

_ Essential Duties and Responsibilities _

include the following. Other duties may be assigned, as necessary.

• Reviews resumes, arranges, and conducts interviews, checks professional records and previous work experience.
• Coordinates efforts with the human resource recruiting office.
• Consults with director of nursing to determine projected needs for nursing staff over the coming year.
• Plans recruiting program based on general pharmacy needs and specialized qualifications for anticipated positions.
• Develops advertisements and recruiting resources for experienced nurses.
• Attends job fairs and arranges with college and nursing school placement offices for on-campus interview dates
• Plans opportunities for candidates to visit and tour the pharmacy.
• Facilitates recordkeeping and handles correspondence
• Establishes contacts in the nursing community through membership and participation in professional associations.
• Consistently represents the company in a professional manner.

Education and/or Experience

• Registered nurse required
• Minimum 1 year in pharmacy or healthcare environment

• Experience in Management Role
