Graduate Civil Engineer – Birmingham – Civil / Infrastructure Design Role

My Client is a well-established, Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy who seek a Graduate Civil Design Engineer to join their knowledgeable and skilled Design Engineering Team. You will be provided with an excellent opportunity to grow and develop your career further whilst working on a great range of both interesting and challenging infrastructure schemes such as industrial, laboratory and manufacturing facilities, commercial and mixed use developments.

You will be required to utilise Civils 3D, MicroDrainage and AutoCAD to produce detailed designs of roads, drainage and other ground works associated with such infrastructure based projects. Experience of these specific software is not essential however a very good eye for detail, a strong technical mind and a solid understanding of the foundations of civil engineering and design are essential.

Applicants should be of a solid educational background with a Degree in Civil Engineering (or other relevant qualification) and have a good knowledge and understanding of the basic principals of Civil Infrastructure design; roads, drainage, ground-works etc. You should have a natural keenness to pursue a career within the civil engineering sector and be invested in pursuing a career path in the design of infrastructure projects for the built environment.
