An exciting opportunity exists to join our talented and passionate team as an Assistant Accountant. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be required to assist with financial support and analysis to the wider Gaming team, including preparation of month end profit & loss statements, monitoring of forecast expenditure by project, and ensuring accurate reporting of financial information.

Some responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial and management reports as per Crown requirements
• Conduct analysis, verifying and reviewing performance of expenses against budgeted and forecast outcomes, and liaise with other departments where necessary to verify and confirm monthly charges.
• Assist Finance Manager with queries from Corporate Finance.
• Assist team members in understanding of financial information presented to them
• Assist the Finance Manager / Management Accountant with audit requests from internal audit and assisting in the completion of external audit requests
• Taking initiative and a proactive approach to assisting team members in delivery of exceptional service

What you will need:

• Tertiary qualification in Business, Accounting or similar
• Strong Excel skills with a sound knowledge of business databases
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A strong attention to detail
• A dynamic approach with the ability to think outside the box to get results
• You must be fully vaccinated (with two doses of an approved COVID-19 vaccine) or have a genuine medical exemption to be eligible to work on site at Crown
