Crown Equipment Corporation Hiring for Talent Acquisition and Onboarding Lead Job at Basingstoke, England Full Time

The Talent Acquisition and Onboarding Lead will take responsibility for defining and delivering the recruitment strategy to address current business needs, as well as identifying future pipelines of candidates to rapidly address future requisitions.

You will oversee the end to end recruitment process within Crown, predominately within the Service Engineer and Sales areas of Crown.

You will work with managers to forecast requirements, source candidates, assist with the interview process, liaise with agencies and mage the offer process right up to the day of induction.

You will also hold responsibility for the advertising roles on social media and job boards, and work closely with the HR Manager to create an attractive employer brand so that Crown become an employer of choice in the materials handling industry.

Stakeholder Management

• Manage internal stakeholders through regular communication to ensure a successful internal recruitment function, allowing Crown to grow.
• Advising hiring managers on the most appropriate sourcing strategies to attract new talent to the relevant business area.
• Carry out workshops and training as required for hiring managers.
• Provides frequent updates to stakeholders on recruitment status and results.
• Proactively provides reports and metrics which measure recruitment effectiveness and hiring status.

Relationship Management with Recruitment Agencies

• Establishing strong relationships with recruitment agencies on our PSL
  Develop the PSL to ensure we are using the best agencies in the market place
• Manage, review and assess the PSL on an on-going basis, conducting regular activity reviews
• Producing monthly reports and KPI’s to review and improve performance

Commercial Opportunities:

• Reducing our spend with external recruitment agencies
• Develop and execute a direct sourcing / candidate attraction strategy to ensure the highest calibre of candidates are attracted to Crown.
• Source via a variety of channels, including LinkedIn, to provide shortlisted candidates that meet the job and cultural requirements.
• Undertake ad hoc networking, recruitment and other relevant projects as required
• Developing an apprenticeship program for both the service and sales team with appropriate providers.

Screening Candidates:

• Reviewing submitted candidates to ensure they are technically and culturally right
• Interviewing all candidates at first interview stage
• Arranging interviews / telephone assessments with line managers.
• Engage candidates throughout the process to ensure the candidate experience is professional and positive.
• Establish a single point-of-contact for the candidate throughout the interview process.

On-Boarding and After Care:

• Contact drafting and release, formal on-boarding and general HR administration. Checking RTW, completing CRB checks, completing reference check etc.
• Coordinate candidate offer process from offer development through negotiation to offer extension and acceptance in conjunction with the Human Resources Department.
• Ensure that both candidate and hiring manager expectations are managed throughout the offer process and obtain appropriate approvals/ sign offs for offers
• Regular reviews with successful candidates to ensure post placement success.
