Crossroads Care Surrey Hiring for Recruitment Coordinator at Leatherhead Full Time

Purpose of the role

This role is responsible for coordinating the recruitment aspect of HR, using the new applicant tracking system to attract and onboard new recruits. The role will coordinate the recruitment across the business, building relationships with the hiring managers, recruitment agencies, the HR team and potential new employees and volunteers. The successful candidate will need to consider innovative ways to attract new talent through education and community engagement, both face to face and online.

Skills and abilities

• Courteous and enthusiastic in verbal and written communications; confident with a practical/common sense approach and mature attitude towards work
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Proven ability to work, and communicate, with people of all levels both internally and externally
• Must have excellent administration, communication and organisational skills
• Proactive approach to tasks
• Strong interest in technology and embracing new systems
• Reliable and able to use own initiative
• High standard of written English and proof-reading.
• Ability to prioritise and complete projects in a timely manner.
• Numerate and accuracy with attention to detail.

Knowledge and experience

• Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in a similar role, ideally managing multiple vacancies.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Teams.
• Knowledge and familiarity with various recruitment platforms such as Indeed and CV Library.
• Knowledge and understanding of HR and Applicant Tracking Systems, ideally within charitable organisation (or similar role) engaged in Care or a business with comparable objectives.
• Experience of effectively developing high performing processes/systems.
