Croots Farm Shop is a family run farm shop and cafe based in Duffield, Derbyshire. We are proud to be supporting local suppliers and proud to be serving our customers with some of the very best food and drink available

Responsibilities of the role

The work is very broad and could include till work, serving on the Deli, organising Click and Collect, stocking shelves, checking and putting deliveries away, cleaning and tidying duties, learning about the products we sell, so that you can help customers find what they are looking for and updating our stock system with prices and stock levels

This job does involve lifting and carrying some heavy boxes like fruit and vegetables.

We pride ourselves on delivering brilliant customer service, so full training will be provided to help you deliver this.

Hours of work

Due to the nature of the work, the hours would start at 7am or 8am for 6 hours a day, five days a week (Tues to Sat) . Please only apply, if you can definitely do these hours as there is no flexibility on this.

A person who is hard working and an enthusiastic team player and are passionate and self-motivated in everything they do with a drive for achievement. A people person, who can interact positively with both customers and colleagues, use their initiative, be flexible and willing to learn. A good sense of humour is essential as is the ability to persuade, influence and build rapport with people
