This role supports the Finance departments and Controllers of subsidiary companies. Must be a self-motivated, detail oriented, Excel proficient individual with an accounting degree and prior accounting experience The CPS Group consists of 6 business units working throughout the country within the Semiconductor and Life Science industries, and the CPSG Finance Department is responsible for analyzing, forecasting, and reporting on the results of these business units.

The FP&A Associate will be responsible for preparation of Monthly Operating Review (MOR) presentations for each business unit. This involves assisting Controllers in preparation of supplemental schedules to the financial statements, variance analysis between actual results v. budget / prior year / forecasted SG&A and OH accounts, Balance Sheet ratio analysis, overdue AR accounts, and other custom reporting. Supplemental report preparation includes exporting data files from the ERP system and cleansing into workable Excel deliverables. The position requires communication with business unit Controllers to assist in preparing reports under deadline and to provide analysis of monthly results.

The position will also be responsible for data entry responsibilities into Excel databases for actual monthly results of all entities, including information related to eliminations and business unit consolidations, as well as forecasted monthly amounts by entity provided by Controllers or the CPSG Finance department.

The FP&A Associate will also be responsible for assisting in preparation of various monthly close deliverables required for consolidation with a foreign parent company reporting under IFRS. This includes exporting, cleansing, and mapping of entity trial balances, rollforwards of GL accounts, and conversion of trial balances into formats necessary for uploads into consolidation software.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance
• Microsoft Excel advanced level in data connections and formulas
• Minimum 2 years of experience in related field (public accounting a plus)
• Detail oriented with strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Team player who possesses strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Flexible orientation with ability to multi-task
