Overview

At Crestron, you will have the opportunity to design and develop ship packaging for a diverse product range. This includes packaging solutions with sustainability efforts. This will include developing roadmaps and solutions to meet the company’s sustainability goals. This candidate will support new product launches with cost savings solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design ship packaging by working closely with the product development teams
• Meet target cost and test requirements
• Work closely with suppliers and procurement
• Generate engineering documentation, mechanical drawings, and bill of materials
• Emphasis on renewable and sustainable packaging

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related fields with emphasis on ship packaging or equivalent work experience.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience is preferred, but more junior candidates are also encouraged to apply and will be considered
• Knowledge of packaging solutions for electronic products strongly preferred
• 3D CAD experience required (Creo preferred)
• Adobe Illustrator skills preferred
• Ability to creatively problem solve
• Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Per applicable state requirements for CO, CA, NY, and WA, the annual pay range for this position ($91,000-$147,000) reflects the hiring range for candidates performing the role in those specific states. Also note, an individual’s offer may vary from this range as it may be impacted by additional factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s hiring location, qualifications, experience, and market factors.
