Summary of position

Proactively partnering with Senior Leaders, the successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of full recruitment lifecycle solutions to achieve business and recruitment objectives. This role is based in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the design, implementation and delivery of a successful recruitment strategy in line with business objectives
• Partner with senior leaders and hiring managers to build understanding of recruitment needs, role requirements and desired candidate profiles to drive the best possible outcomes

• Drive ongoing collaboration with senior leaders and hiring managers to develop a strong understanding of effective recruitment practices and processes and the delivery of a positive candidate experiences in all interactions

• Assess and implement appropriate and innovative talent acquisition solutions with a focus on direct sourcing, targeted campaigns, talent pooling and partnerships with academic institutions
• Full lifecycle candidate management during sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers and feedback process
• Take a central role in developing recruitment campaigns and talent pool for our successful Postdoc Program
• Provide talent insights to hiring managers, contribute to salary benchmarking intelligence, advise on competitive remuneration and benefits packages
• Take a lead in the development of Talent Brand and EVP
• Work with the wider HR team to ensure effective workforce and succession planning

• Analyse and report on recruitment metrics and data to identify areas of improvement across talent acquisition strategies and procedures
• Work with HR and talent acquisition teams on a variety of projects
• Coach, mentor, and upskill other team members as they grow their recruitment skills and experience

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years professional recruitment/talent acquisition experience, including in-house experience
• Degree level qualification or equivalent in scientific discipline (Chemistry preferred)
• Experience working in dynamic scientific, technology and/or software environment, ideally in a scaling company
• Proven track record of hiring first class talent using direct sourcing techniques
• High level of stakeholder management, building collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills to achieve positive outcomes

• Highly organised and proactive self-starter, comfortable managing multiple projects to tight timescales
• Good understanding of HR and recruitment processes, best practice, workforce planning and data analysis
