About the Position

Crescent Bank is looking for a talented professional to fill an open position as a Talent Development Trainer. The Talent Development Trainer is responsible for partnering with various departments within Crescent Bank to develop and execute leadership and professional development strategy, employee engagement, design culture and provide operational leadership and oversight over the learning function.

This position will:

• Consult with critical stakeholders across the business to define the capabilities required for job performance and assess current skill levels against those requirements
• Identify capability gaps and areas for development to be formulated
• Prioritize training offerings to ensure alignment with business strategy
• Facilitate and conduct blended learning methodologies and use tools to design and promote learning and development (e.g., classroom-based learning, virtual, e-learning, on demand self-paced, experiential/stretch assignments, etc.)
• Design and develop tools and activities to promote learning and development
• Engage and communicate with key stakeholders to enhance program offering awareness and utilization
• Ensure a best-in-class employee talent development experience
• Identify educational and training improvement opportunities, and implement for future cycles.
• Demonstrates strong project management leadership skills including, critical ability to coordinate and balance multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure, and meeting deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Superior presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal

Additional Information

• Experience and proven success consulting with executive stakeholders on a diverse range of talent development strategies/initiatives
• Experience in collaborating effectively and leading without authority across the enterprise; advising on talent development challenges for all levels in the organization
• Experience developing and conducting live instructor-led training for professional and leadership audiences
• Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum development, instructional-systems design methodologies, adult learning theory and application and eLearning concepts
• Strong understanding of talent and organization development best practices and market trends
• Experience using LMS and multimedia authoring tools to develop online learning modules•
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience in organization and professional development (4 years in lieu of a Bachelor’s).
• 3+ years of progressively increasing Talent Development experience
• 2+ years of experience in developing and implementing employee engagement initiatives
• Auto Finance and Servicing experience is preferred
• Works effectively as part of a team atmosphere to perform duties and achieve daily operational goals
• Meets productivity standards in accordance with Crescent Bank’s confidentiality policies and organizational values
• Performs additional duties as needed within the department
• Some travel required
