Crescendo School of Music and Art Hiring for Private Flute Teacher Job at Winchmore Hill, England Full Time

Crescendo School of Music and Art is looking for a professional, experienced and inspiring Flute Teacher to join our team of tutors from September!

Please note, all lessons will be taught at pupils’ homes so we are looking for someone who has the availability to teach a Grade 5 pupil based in Winchmore Hill.

Candidates with the ability to teach an additional instrument will be preferred.

Job description:

Flute and Music theory lessons to be given at students’ homes at a time and day convenient for both teacher and student. The teacher will ensure that all students are progressing and learning at a comfortable pace; are enjoying the practice and have carefully chosen their goals, such as future graded exams.

Requirements for the role:

• Most importantly you have to passionate about teaching and enjoy sharing your knowledge with students;
• Availability to teach in Winchmore Hill, London;
• The teacher must be punctual, organised, friendly, patient and creative;
• We are looking for a great personality who is comfortable working my children as well as adults;
• Must be able to teach Flute (up to grade 8) and Music theory (up to grade 5 minimum);
• Have an experience in working with ABRSM exams;
• Must have an up to date Enhanced DBS check;
• Must be registered as a self-employed and take care of your own insurances such as: Professional indemnity and Public Liability;
• We are looking for someone flexible in getting around London it is preferred to have a valid UK Driving licence and personal transport to travel to students all around North and Central London.

Rates for Piano Instrumental Lessons:

30 mins – £22;

45 mins – £29.50;

60 mins – £35;

75 mins – £44;

90 mins – £52;

120 mins – £70

Music Theory (if ever hired to teach this as a subject separately from the instrumental lessons):

30 mins – £17.60;

60 mins – £30.
