Position Summary : The Logistics Analyst / Coordinator assists the Director of Logistics in a variety of logistical- and inventory control- related tasks.

The primary day-to-day functions will focus on the maintenance and upkeep of several different operational assignments, including transfer reconciliation, coordinating external logistics shipments, fleet coordination and oversight, branch cycle counting programs, and other various tasks, as assigned.

It is incumbent that the Logistics Analyst / Coordinator possess the ability to evaluate priorities and continually improve processes & procedures to ensure a superior level of accuracy, efficiency, and overall service offering.

Experience : 3+ years of experience in warehouse / logistics environment (or equivalent) required. Industry experience preferred, not required.

Education : Bachelor’s degree in related field is required.

Job Duties :

• Reconcile company-internal inventory movements (transfers)
• Review and audit inventory adjustment register (daily), broken tagged items (daily), and negative tagged items (monthly)
• Process annual inventory write-downs on slow-moving product
• Coordinate LTL and FTL shipments with third party carriers
• Set-up, monitor, and maintain Cregger Companys Advanced Cycle Counting program
• Assist with generating s and compiling data / information in preparation of branch audits
• Serve as the primary POC for all matters pertaining to Cregger Company vehicles and motor equipment, including leased, rented, and purchased assets
• Maintain general fleet oversight and assist with various fleet-related tasks, as required :
• New unit acquisition, obtaining price quotes, specifications, lead time communication
• Maintenance (both preventative and non-preventative), furnishing substitute vehicles, etc…
• Move vehicles and motor equipment to / from various locations
• Review invoices for accuracy. Obtain quotations and coordinate suggested repair work
• Manage ELD compliance (via existing partnership with CyntrX) and assist branches by providing guidance and training re : driver log requirements
• Continually strive for process & performance improvement in the areas of logistics and inventory control
• Assist with other responsibilities, as assigned
• Possible future areas of focus :

• Asset utilization tracking (and re-balancing when appropriate)

Pay : 45K-55K DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE
