BOOKKEEPER – Part Time

Looking for a part-time bookkeeper with a broad range of experience to handle multiple clients.
Must be comfortable working independently. Hours are flexible so this is perfect for someone with kids. This is not a temp company. You will be an employee working as part of a staff.
Potential for growth is significant. You will begin by handling some overflow clients then grow to a workload you are comfortable with. This job will be both onsite and remote.

Qualification

• Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks)
• 3-5 years Bookkeeping experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Able to complete tasks accurately and timely with minimal supervision
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Thrives in a collaborative, team player office environment
• Ability to interface well with staff and external clients
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Strong organizational skills

Essential Job Duties include but are not limited to:

• Perform professional bookkeeping work in accordance with prescribed accounting systems and generally accepted principles of accounting.
• Responsible for monthly bank reconciliations.
• Prepares financial reports (balance sheets, I&E statements).
• Maintain Chart of Accounts.
• Enter invoices and deposits.
• Review and make recommendations on existing accounting policies and procedures.
• Comply with all internal control policies of the organization.
• Available to participate in financial strategy or review meetings.
• Provide full bookkeeping related support in the event of an audit.
• Track and process payables and receivables.
