Office Manager/Accounting Assistant

About the Company & Opportunity

• Extremely stable energy infrastructure firm focusing on clean energy access in the Caribbean & Latin America
• Strong ties to the community, assisting with upgrades & developments such as construction of a water tank for a community center, donation of COVID cleaning equipment to hospitals, renovation of an elementary school kitchen, etc.
• Position will be on site Monday through Thursday and remote on Fridays, 9am-5:30pm

Responsibilities

• Manages office operations to assure equipment is properly maintained and supplier; coordinate with service suppliers and building personnel as needed
• Provides administrative support to officers including phone coverage, copy and scanning, file management, document preparation, and other related activities
• Welcomes guests by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or directing inquiries as well as screening calls.
• Prepares expense s, daily mail distribution, event tracker and RSVP’s to various invitations
• Maintains paper and electronic filing system
• Help accounts payable with invoice processing and annual 1099s.
• Assist with payroll processing on an as needed basis

Experience Preferred

• 2+ years of administrative support or related experience
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong sense of organization
