Junior Accountant Needed!

ABOUT THE COMPANY:

One of our clients located need of a Junior Accountant to assist with the Accounting responsibilities in a friendly and well-established office. This position is ideal for a candidate who is friendly and interested in a position where there is room to grow in the company. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply to this position! The office does have a kitchen on-site for coffee and lunch. Employees are assigned their own parking space upon onboarding. The hours are fully on site from 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm.
A great opportunity for someone entering the field wanting to gain experience and network!
OVERVIEW OF THE JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT ROLE:
  • Process Requisitions and keep track of purchase orders
  • Answer more than 20+ vendor queries a day
  • Comfortable supporting in different departments as needed
  • Assist Accountants with other duties as required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT:

  • Comfortable with the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Microsoft Excel- comfortable with accounting formulas and data entry, Pivot Tables are a plus!
  • Bachelors in Accounting
  • Previous Accounting experience required
