Overview of the Controller role:

• Coordinate company financial planning and budget management functions
• Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget.
• Oversee Grants and grant compliance from various sources.
• Work with department managers and staff to develop future business plans for the company
• Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in a multi-entity environment
• Oversee companies banking relationships
• Enjoy all the functions of being a Controller without the responsibility of managing!

Preferred Qualifications for the Controller:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related degree
• Advanced knowledge of accounting practices
• Experience using Yardi is a PLUS
