Responsibilities:

• Be a strong project manager who can prioritize competing requirements, identify and mitigate accounting risks as our business changes, and manage workflow and dependencies
• Assists with managing our cash management and payroll tax accounting teams, including members of our Global Business Services (“GBS”) team
• Evaluates processes for effectiveness, identifies areas for improvement and manages the training and transition of processes to GBS
• Reviews journal entries and account reconciliations in accordance with policy as part of the month-end/quarterly/annual close process for a multi-unit organization
• Assists with the annual external audit and quarterly reviews performed by our auditors including control walkthroughs
• Drives the usage and process improvements related to the ERP system
• Manages the accuracy of GL interfaces of data from POS, payroll or other systems to the general ledger
