Summary of Position:

Responsible for daily administrative support and assistance to the Accounting Manager. Will carry out daily, recurring requirements including accounts payable, accounts receivable and record keeping. The Accounting Assistant will keep office systems maintained and orderly.

Duties:

Bookkeeping and accounting support: (80% of time)

• Provide bookkeeping assistance including processing accounts payable invoices, accounts receivable invoicing, and payment processing.
• Assist customers with payment processing and billing questions
• Bank deposits & mail collection
• Provide assistance for auditing requirements

Business Administration (~20% of Time):

• Record keeping
• Routine office and clerical needs of business and accounting team
• Generate recurring reports

Qualifications/Experience:

• Two years prior experience or training in bookkeeping or accounting
• Experience with QuickBooks
• MS Excel and Word
• Google suite

Education/Training:

Bachelor or Associate degree or equivalent work experience

Travel and Work schedule:

Individuals work with a flexible schedule, coordinated with other team members. Occasional travel including out-of-state and overnight will be needed for training, team member meetings and to support Creative Energies team operations.

Pay: $19.00 – $21.00 per hour
