Job Summary

The Sync Intern will focus on supporting our music presence in various media platforms through pitch preparation, researching and managing rights, metadata for new releases, and assisting with aligning pitches with upcoming TV air dates.

This intern also involves providing support in music licensing and clearance administration, contributing to our overall sync licensing initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing pitches for sync opportunities in Film, TV, Video Games, and related media.
• Research rights and restrictions associated with our music catalog.
• Assist with metadata for new releases to ensure accurate and comprehensive information.
• Research upcoming TV air dates to strategically align music pitches with relevant shows.
• Provide support in music licensing and clearance administration processes.
• Support the team in day-to-day operational tasks related to sync licensing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must be based in Los Angeles.
• Must be enrolled in a 4-year university during the internship.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to organize and analyze large amounts of data efficiently.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to collaborate with staff of all levels.
• Previous experience in the music industry preferred.
• Previous experience with DISCO Platform preferred.
