Job Title & Location

Your role as Finance Assistant reports to the Senior Finance Manager. The position is located in our head office near Farringdon in central London with the potential for occasional travel to any of our sites throughout the UK and Europe. There is scope to work from home, but this will be at your managers discretion.

Job Purpose

To support the Senior Finance Manager on all financial matters including the production of monthly management accounts, statutory financial statements, producing excellent quality, robust financial information and any ad-hoc projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the financial reporting of our Danish entity, Vitanova, including all month end reporting, weekly cash flows and KPI reporting.
• Weekly bank reconciliations.
• Management of stock reporting for the company.
• Daily cash receipts.
• Quarterly VAT returns.
• Month end duties including;
• Danish Entity
• VAT accounting
• Stock
• Credit cards
• Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Monthly billings to NHS and other partner organisations to ensure cash is received in an efficient and timely manner and all records are accurate and up to date.
• As the company continues its rapid expansion look to improve our processes and MI data and reporting.
• Preparation of audit files and liaison with external auditors for annual statutory accounts.
• Assisting in the process of annual budget preparation and quarterly forecasting.
• Maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial systems and supporting future system developments.
• Ensure safe custody and stewardship of clinic assets.
• Monitor compliance with financial controls and seek to improve them.
• Involvement in company projects
• Adhoc analysis
