Summary

An opportunity has arisen for a Finance Graduateto join the Finance Team. This is a fantastic opportunity within an established food business to develop a career in accounting & finance. This role allows for the development of core accounting knowledge, alongside key business partnering skills, through exposure to all parts of the site operations.

Main duties include (but not limited to):

· Responsible for multiple processes within the production of the weekly accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of information provided.

· Liaise with the wider factory team, to ensure accuracy of information included within the weekly accounts.

· Collation of daily operational KPIs to support the site management team.

· Responsible for site cash book ensuring Bank & Petty Cash reconciliations are performed on a weekly basis.

· Assist with preparation of Monthly Accounts and undertake monthly reconciliations as required.

· Provide cover for Management & Financial Accountant.

· Undertake any other Ad Hoc projects as required.

Requirements, experience and person specification :

· The Ideal candidate will be confident and self-driven to develop, possessing strong numerical and analytical skills alongside being hardworking and demonstrating excellent communication skills.

· Proven track record of providing finance support.

· A 2:1 degree (within a finance/accounting – preferred)

· Competent in use of Excel

· Experience within MS Office programs such as Outlook and Power-point

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Salary: £24,000.00 per year
