Crank Studios is a new creative hub just outside of the centre of a thriving town. We have two studio spaces that we hire to local businesses and community groups, with more rooms on their way. As well as a music school that is growing fast, with over 130 students currently on our books and more on a waiting list

Our studio offers a high quality, affordable and family friendly experience within a safe and clean environment for all of our customers to enjoy. We opened to create a space for the local community to let their creative juices flow. To train, rehearse and perfect their skills in whatever they do. Be it dancing, singing , acting or playing a musical instrument. Our music lessons are individually tailored to each student, be it taking them through a grade system or just having fun learning their favourite songs on their desired instrument.

Our lessons and the other services we provide must walk the line between fun and relaxed but professional and rewarding.

Job description

We’re looking for an experienced singing tutor to join our team. Taking over from our current tutor with a full diary. We’re striving to build a talented and reliable team of tutors to fulfil the demand. Applicants must be confident to teach ages 5+, be able to provide engaging lessons that are either 20, 30 or 60 minutes long, have great working knowledge of your instrument, have the ability to teach a range of styles of music, understand how to asses a students abilities and able to set appropriate material. Previous teaching experience required.

Days Available

Mondays – Between 2pm – 8pm

Tuesdays – Between 2pm – 8pm

Wednesdays – Between 2pm – 8pm

Thursdays – Between 2pm – 8pm

Fridays – Between 2pm – 8pm

Saturdays – Between 9am – 1pm

The interview process will be a conversation about your experience and skills, followed by a tour of the facilities and a short audition.

COVID-19 considerations:
All of our customers sign in at reception & sanitise their hands before entering. We recommend our customers & staff take a lateral flow before entering our premises & to not enter if showing symptoms. We clean daily & clean instruments between students.

Education:

• Bachelor’s (preferred)

Experience:

• teaching: 1 year (preferred)
• tutoring: 1 year (preferred)
