CPR Looking for Geotechnical Design Engineer at Birmingham Full Time

We are currently dealing with a major Engineering consultancy based in Birmingham who are looking at recruiting a technical Geotechnical Design Engineer to work on various major projects such as HS2, TRU and deep piles for a major Bridge scheme.  As the Geotechnical Design Engineer, you will Work with project teams to develop project specific solutions undertaking geotechnical design and prepare detailed geotechnical reports. You will be involvement at all stages of projects advising on ground risk and develop high quality, innovative geotechnical solutions. Within the role you will undertake geotechnical analysis design of earthworks and structures for example shallow and deep foundations, retaining walls and slopes. This role could suit an experience Assistant or Graduate Geotechnical Design Engineer looking to make that next step up.

Job Requirements

• Relevant Degree or Masters Degree in Civil Engineering or Geology
• Demonstrable experience in geotechnical design and construction and a good working knowledge of ground conditions in the United Kingdom. 
• The ability to anticipate and interpret ground conditions and to develop accurate ground models from site investigation and desk study information.
• Experience of geotechnical analysis design of earthworks and structures for example shallow and deep foundations, retaining walls and slopes.
