CPAs Hiring for Audit Senior – Remote Job at Remote Full Time

Full-service practice in Orange County, California is seeking an Remote Audit Senior with 2+ years of experience to join our growing team.

We provide both tax and audit services – and the audits we specialize in are for the benefit of private money lenders. These are investors who lend money to mostly real estate ventures at high interest rates. We need to audit these ventures to ensure the risk is not too high for the lenders.

Audits involve the following 5 stages – (i) Planning Phase (ii) Testing Phase (iii) Review Phase (iv) Report Phase & (v) Finalization Phase – i.e. resolution of any outstanding issues etc.

How You’ll Contribute:

• Perform substantive procedures, build an audit file and identify risks associated with the audit process.
• Administration of clients in portfolio – including job progress, early issue identification and resolution.
• Prepare/Review financial statements and disclosures

What You’ll Bring:

• 2-4 years recent audit experience
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• CPA certified or the eligibility to work toward obtaining a CPA license
• Proficient with use of office technology and software such as CCH Engagement for our audit files, Thompson Reuters and research software.
• Ability to communicate effectively – as in this position you’ll have the opportunity to have a lot of client interaction.
• Strong attention to details with the ability to organize work and projects, prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Highly motivated and takes initiative for professional growth and development
• Great personality with strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor

Pay: $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
