Accounting Supervisor

The Accounting Supervisor will manage our outsourced accounting team and deliver support outstanding services to the client base. The candidate in this position should have experience in public accounting and as a Supervisor or Controller previously. Experience working with government contractors is highly preferred. The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for quality and on-time delivery of exceptional accounting services, reviewing work papers, completing preparations and compilations, and leading a culture of collaboration and dedication to quality.

Responsibilities:

Review all monthly preparations and compilations
Prepare and review cash flow forecasts
Ensure timely and quality delivery of engagements.
Identify opportunities to increase client engagement and services
Manages to project Budgets/Realization/Deadlines
Utilize Project Management tools
Work with Dept. Heads to ensure deliverables are timely
Communicate (overcommunicate) internally and externally to maintain transparency and clear expectations

Qualifications:

B.S. Accounting, Finance or Economics, CPA or M.S. preferred

Experience with Government Contractors highly preferred

Fearless dedication to amazing client service

Excellent Understanding of Accrual Based Accounting

Strong client communication and interface skills

Minimum 5 – 10 years’ experience

Knowledge of GAAP accounting rules, regulations, policies and procedures

Proven, solid software skills and exposure to automated accounting systems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 – $115,000.00 per year
