Specializing in aerospace related temperature control and ice protection, our staff includes world-renowned and highly experienced engineers in the fields of icing, aerodynamics, heat transfer, software, mechanical, and electrical design.

Researches, plans, analyzes, and designs mechanical and thermal products and systems, and coordinates activities involved in fabrication, operation, application, installation of relevant products and systems.

Researches and analyzes data such as customer design proposal, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application.

Analyzes and designs products for the aerospace industry including aircraft thermal ice protection systems, and electronic control boxes cooling solutions. Goal is to meet customer’s performance requirements within the power budget and other limitations

Conducts detailed analytical studies, and performs numerical simulations using advanced software packages and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) tools.

Plans and conducts experimental test programs, analyzes test data, produces reports, and determines if design meets functional and performance specifications.

Directs and coordinates prototype fabrication, installation and testing activities to evaluate and ensure products and systems conform to engineering design and customer specifications.

Confers with supervisor and other engineering personnel during all design and implementation stages.

Education and/or Experience

Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field with a minimum of four years of related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as exponents, polynomial equations, probability and statistics, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply these concepts to practical design and analysis situations. Understanding of heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and gas dynamics equations and related design concepts.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Computer Skills

Word processing and spreadsheet, CAD software (2D and 3D)

Pay: $60,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
