The IT incident Specialist is responsible for supporting the corporate incident management services. The candidate will respond to critical incidents, support incident investigation and reporting. These requirements fulfill critical business needs and directly impact our customers. We are looking for a motivated individual with zest for learning and passion for technology to be part of our IT Operation team.
The key responsibilities to be fulfilled by the successful candidate:
Document and report incident occurrence in real time to executives,
Investigate each and every incidents, P1, P2, P3, P4,
Ensure SNOW data reflects an accurate description of Cox Automotive Canada (CAC)s incidents,
when appropriate, apply corrections with the help of Enterprise Operation Center (EOC).
Lead most incident root cause analysis (RCA) meetings, internal & external reports,
Interface with legal and lender teams regarding external report,
Influence team to actively participate and contribute,
Document incident resolution, follow up on incident resolution actions, and escalate when appropriate.
Be continually intimately aware of current incident/business KPIs, identify discrepancies when anomalies are reported in dashboards
Qualifications:
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in information technology or software engineering,
knowledge of web-based applications architecture, Network protocol and policies, AWS Cloud framework, (an asset),
Cyber security experience, hold a certification in a field related to security (CCNA Cyber Ops, CompTIA Security +, SSCP or equivalent), (a strong asset),
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Word, Excel, MS teams, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive),
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent experience,
Problem resolution and critical thinking,
Positive attitude, team spirit and soft skills (composed and appears calm under pressure),
Passion for learning,
Excellent English communication skills.
