The role

The primary focus of this role is providing support to CAA business functions by using data driven approach and modern BI tools to deliver critical functional and industry insights.

This role works closely with key stakeholders across business functions to identify improvement opportunities, deliver ing solutions and support various analytical initiatives. This role requires a high degree of self-motivation, strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication and positive collaboration mindset.

Responsibilities

• Collect, collate and interpret information for the creation of dashboards to enable sound business and strategic decision making (i.e., financial exposure, marketing analytics, industry insights, operational optimisation etc.)
• Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, design, build and deploy solutions
• Maintain and improve existing dashboard suites
• Conduct peer assessment of BI dashboards in development and provide constructive feedback to foster and promote continuous improvement culture
• Own the management of Tableau and Power BI Server as well as CAA’s annual BI licensing requirements
• Provide knowledge of BI tools for CAA employees to promote self-service analytics culture

Skills & Experience

• Experience in dashboard design and visualisation techniques
• Sound experience with modern BI tools (Tableau/Power BI preferred)
• Exposure to cloud data platforms and technology (Snowflake/Dataiku/AWS/Azure)
• Experience writing Python code, and advanced in SQL code
• Ability to present analytics and insights in an intuitive manner
• Strong organisational skills
• Bachelor’s degree in quantitative disciplines (Finance, Engineering, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Data Science, etc.) will be beneficial
