The role is within the Estates and Facilities Team in Coventry University Enterprises Limited which provides essential functions to support the continued UK and international growth of the University, providing the spaces, facilities, infrastructure, and expertise to create a world class experience for all our customers.
Main Responsibilities
You will ensure that efficient systems and processes are in place to enable the team to construct the timetable for students and staff across the Group. You will review the systems and processes and updated where required and where appropriate, in conjunction with Digital Services and other relevant colleagues and stakeholders.
You will manage the relationship with key internal stakeholders for delivery and development of the systems and ensure that appropriate and timely communications are maintained with these areas. You will ensure regular communication with academic and professional services staff and students about resource related matters.
You will work with and co-ordinate academic resource staff in the academic units, providing a timetabling service for all scheduled teaching activities to enhance the student experience. You will oversee the co-ordination of the timetabling process, focussing on the student experience and the effective delivery of teaching and other activities, seeking advice from the space planning team where required, to ensure the most effective use of space. You will liaise with colleagues in Estates, such as space planning, to support relationships with other internal and external providers of space that is used for academic delivery.
