Country Road Group Hiring for Financial Accountant Job at Melbourne Full Time

Your role as a Financial Accountant will play an important role in ensuring we meet month end reporting deadlines whilst contributing to broader group performance. Reporting directly to our Senior Financial Accountant, you will contribute to year end statutory accounting processes for group reporting purposes.

With a hybrid mix of time at home as well as our corporate office, will suit an emerging financial accounting professional with high attention to detail who is energised by the fast-paced nature of the Retail industry.

What does the role involve?

• Preparation of month end accrual journals and intercompany loans journals
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigation of any variances
• Assist in the preparation of half yearly and yearly CRG group consolidation reports
• Work with Commercial Finance teams to assist in the preparation of monthly profit & loss statements
• Assist in the preparation of CRG annual statutory accounts
• Work closely with external auditors during annual audit process

Who are we looking for?

• Fully CA or CPA qualified
• Proven experience in a similar Accounting role within chartered or commercial environment
• Experience within a Retail environment will be highly regarded
• Intermediate and above Excel Skills (Pivot Tables & V-Lookups)
• Strong attention to details in processes
• Strong communication skills to be able to deal with an array of stakeholders
