Country Road Group Hiring for Finance Analyst Job at Melbourne Full Time

Play a pivotal role providing in-depth analysis and support to our Country Road Group Commercial Finance team.

Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, your team will be responsible for reporting, budgeting and forecasting across each brand, and providing additional support to the broader finance and commercial teams. Working as a part of a high performing finance team, your role will be to provide valuable analysis and insights to stakeholders.

With a hybrid mix of time at home as well as our corporate office, this role will suit a data-obsessed commercial finance professional, that possesses strong analytical and communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

What does the role involve?

• Support the Finance Business Partners with budgeting, forecasting, and producing reports for senior management
• Liaise with Group Financial Accounting teams regarding Month End processes and reporting
• Working collaboratively to support process improvements across the Country Road brands, to ensure consistency and smooth workflow
• Support retail business units to ensure costs are correctly allocated to the general ledger and in line with budget allocations
• Aligning budgets with the strategic direction of each individual business unit
• Collate data from all online channels and develop reporting dashboards with insights and analysis
• Contribute to business case development for initiatives across the brands
• Produce ad hoc analysis and reporting for a wide range of stakeholders

Who are we looking for?

• Demonstrated experience in a similar commercial finance/analyst role
• Studying towards or CA/CPA qualified will be highly regarded
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills expected with previous knowledge in finance systems (ERP or BI tools) beneficial
• High level of analytical capability
• Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with a diverse group of stakeholders
• Great organisational skills to support navigating between competing priorities
