Counted Recruitment are currently recruiting a Finance Assistant for a great service business based in Tipton. The role will see you play a crucial part in a large finance team.

Main duties of this Finance Assistant role include:

• Assist the Group Accounts Payable department with checking and coding invoices
• Check and code sub-contractor payments
• Create and update spreadsheets of daily transactions
• Enter and reconcile financial transactions
• Maintain Petty cash and Expenses Accounts
• Ensure compliance with all internal policies and procedures

Location / Office / Hours

The business is based in Tipton. Easily commutable, with parking as the role is office based.

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate will have a real blend of Purchase and sales ledger, being able to help assist the accounting team. Reporting to the Management Accountant, the role will be working within the Finance Team which looks after the Financial, Commercial and Administrative aspects of the business. This position would suit an individual with all round experience in bookkeeping and Purchase ledger.
