The re-profiling of our finance function has created an opportunity for an experienced and capable Financial Accountant to join our Brisbane based Corporate Services team.

A bit about the role:

You’ll be kept busy with all of this and more…

• Monthly sales invoice preparation, approval, and processing
• Setting up new jobs in our project management system
• Fortnightly payroll processing including annual and sick leave management
• Management of new employees / leavers in the payroll system
• Management of staff expense claims
• Checking and approval of AP invoices
• Assisting with preparation of payments to process
• Weekly and monthly timesheet checks, staff queries, and approvals
• Credit card reconciliations
• Monthly Asset depreciation
• Assisting FC with month-end accruals and balance sheet reconciliations
• Assisting FC with revenue accruals and reporting

A bit about you:

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting / Finance
• At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Team player who is willing to learn and go the extra mile
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
• Role has the potential for growth and taking on more responsibility
• Solid XERO experience required
• Workflow Max and Dynamics 365 experience preferred
• Ability to set priorities, multitask and meet deadlines
• Must have a keen eye for detail and take pride in your work
• And ideally, you’ll be driven to actively seek out opportunities for process improvement
