How You’ll Contribute to the Team

The Recruiter performs multi-site high-volume recruiting that focuses on skilled trades, customer service, and leasing professionals. This role will be responsible for proactively increasing the size and quality of candidate pools and developing impactful relationships with hiring managers. Resume review and candidate pre-screening is at the forefront of this role.

While the role is remote, we currently only hire selected candidates from the following states: AL, FL, GA, IN, KS, LA, MA, MD, MI, NC, OK, RI, TN, TX.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Develops and maintains a clear understanding of business needs, positions requirements, and the unique environment of each property management location.
• Compares applications to job qualifications to evaluate whether candidates demonstrate they meet minimum qualifications for the position.
• Utilizes candidate databases and recruitment tools to proactively identify prospective candidates and invite them to apply for open positions, including cold-calling.
• Pre-screens candidates prior to hiring manager review and presents detailed summaries of information gathered to assist the hiring manager in assessing candidate skills, strengths, and experience.
• Communicates regularly with hiring managers to gather feedback and understand candidate status in order to communicate updates to candidates and maintain process records.
• Facilitates the formal offer and the pre-hire processes, executing a variety of administrative and operational steps.
• Maintains accurate and timely ATS updates, including disposition status and reason.
• Track candidate flow and status of all assigned positions and regularly progress and obstacles to management.
• Work with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations and company policies.
• Participate in critical staffing initiatives for startup of new business.
• Other duties as assigned.

Role Specific Requirements Include:

• 3+ years’ experience in high-volume recruiting; experience supporting multiple locations required.
• Must have prior experience recruiting for skilled trades/crafts, high-touch customer service, or leasing positions; prior property management, facilities, or hospitality industry experience a strong plus.
• Understanding of employment law, as it relates to staffing, and human resources practices.
• Demonstrated ability to organize activities and manage time efficiently to meet commitments and adapt to changing priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to interact with individuals of diverse backgrounds and at all levels of the organization, including effective conflict resolution.
• Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruiting software, candidate databases, and MS Office.
• Ability to travel for employment events if needed.
