They will have a strong background in manual testing and the ability to bring those manual processes to automation and develop automated testing plans to test new features and releases. Position: Software Testing and Documentation Specialist

Duties:

· Create and complete testing of development items per the project plan.

· Ensure released functions and features work as expected.

· Maintain continual communication and collaboration with development team throughout the testing cycle.

· Create, manage, and maintain testing data.

· Develop and maintain internal documentation.

· Produce release notes from design and development documents.

· Assist with producing end-user documentation, help files, etc.

· Assist with reproducing bugs reported by our support team.

· Work with installers and assist in using the distribution package if needed.

· Create concise and accurate reproduction steps for software bugs.

Necessary Skills:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems preferred

· Technical Boot Camp may substitute for education.

· Experience reading and writing T-SQL queries

· Software testing experience, including test automation.

· Writing and developing test plans

· Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with great attention to detail

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively in a team setting.

· High level of initiative and personal accountability

· Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands and timelines if necessary.

· Must be able to work remotely.

Desirable Skills:

· Experience with Jira

· Experience with Selenium or testing tools such as LoadRunner/JMeter, PostMan, SoapUI, Cucumber BDD, Automated Testing.

· Familiarity with Javascript and Javascript frameworks such as Vue, React, Angular

· Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines

· Familiarity with HL7 interface structure

· Familiarity with medical records or billing and/or laboratory settings

Job Type: Full-time 8am-5pm PST M-F

This position will be a central, authoritative resource to the company with responsibility to help our beta clients optimize end-user experience. Additional responsibilities include, but not limited to, arranging client training, and assisting clients with their use of Cortex products.
