Corteva Agriscience Hiring for Warehouse Technician at Lethbridge, AB Full Time

At Corteva, we’re putting science to work—improving the nutritional value of food, ensuring food safety, and finding smart, sustainable solutions to feed a growing population. We are looking for a Warehouse Tech/Truck Driver to join our team at this plant.

Responsibilities for this role consist of shipping, receiving and general warehouse functions. Responsible of preparing customer orders, accounting for inventory in hand.

Must possess organizational skills to proper receive inbound and ship outbound shipments.

Able to help during the discard process.

Receiving, inspecting and washing returned Corteva Proboxes

Receiving, inspecting and repairing returned Corteva pallets.

Understand and follow Good Manufacturing Practices for the care, handling, and storage of products; and report any known or observed violations to management.

Able to read computer generated reports.

Able to distinguish product names, product numbers, lot numbers, batch numbers and warehouse locations.

Operate a forklift in a safe manner.

Able to obtain material samples following Corteva Quality Plan.

Able to lift up to and including 55 pound packages in a safe manner.

Must possess and exhibit good verbal English communication skills to communicate with all departments and coworkers to alert management of problems or needs to ensure proper continuous operations.

Qualifications

Requirements:
What expertise have you grown? What do you bring to the table?

High school diploma or GED equivalent

3-5 years’ experience in warehousing and transportation

Excellent communication, planning, and organization skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office and must have overall computer aptitude

Forklift experience

Team player who is flexible, open to change, creative, proactive, forward thinking, takes initiative

Must be able to function and work well in a team as well as independently with little to no immediate supervision

Must be willing and able to work overtime, weekends and holidays when necessary

Must be willing and able to work shift work

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
