Corrective Services NSW (CSNSW) is a Division of the Department of Communities and Justice. CSNSW delivers professional correctional services and programs to reduce the risk of re-offending and enhance public safety. It serves a key function of NSW Communities and Justice by providing effective, safe and humane management of offenders in custody and in the community. CSNSW also works in partnership with other government and community agencies to ensure that offenders and their families are supported.
About the role
The Finance Analyst role is within the Reducing Reoffending Strategy Program Management Office. The Reducing Reoffending Strategy is a Premier’s Priority for the Department and CSNSW.
The role supports the PMO Director, Director Business Analysis and the Senior Finance Analyst PMO with decision makings on strategic business operations, financial management, accounting and related transactions.
You will work collaboratively to build strong rapport with relevant internal and external stakeholders; act as an interface between business operations, project leads, corporate finance, human resources and digital technology services teams on matters relating to the Reducing Reoffending Program. You will be instrumental in providing accurate and evidence based financial/business reports and advices to senior managers, directors and the Reducing Reoffending Program Board.
