We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer, proficient with ReactJS, to provide technical design, development, support and evaluation for large-scale Web applications and systems. The successful candidate is a team player with excellent technical and problem-solving skills, is aware of industry trends, questions the status quo and can identify and propose alternatives.

What are the main 3-5 responsibilities of this resource?

1.Build out the front end of dentaquest.com’s new change a dentist (FAD) functionality using reactJS

2.Modify existing backend API’s in C# to align with front end needs

3.Participate in the entire development life cycle, from concept to release

What are the main 3-5 technologies this resource should be proficient in?

3.Familiarity with AEM (adobe experience manager) and associated tools (Adobe Target & Analytics)

What are the TOP 5 Critical Skills or Must Haves skills a candidate should have on their resume in order to be considered?

1. 5+ years of hands on reactJs experience implementing responsive designs for mobile, tablet, and desktop

2. 4+ years of hands-on C# experience building REST services

3. 2+ years’ experience with web accessibility standards and practices

4. Strong communication skills

What will you do?

· Write high quality code that is easy to maintain and test

· Build TypeScript and JavaScript client code using modern web frameworks and technologies (React, Redux and Sass)

· Work with UX and Design to standardize and simplify UI development practices

· Build modular and reusable UI components

· Build and maintain front-end web application infrastructure

· Participate in the entire development life cycle, from concept to release

· Support strategic code sharing and architecture for one or more functional area

· Ensure design and architecture is extensible across multiple projects

· Work with CX team to come up with the best solutions and implementation plans for new features or changes to existing ones

· Assist as needed to support business applications by diagnosing complex production issues requiring extensive analysis and troubleshooting.

· Maintain and improve our existing codebase

· Contribute to defining timelines and plans; research and estimate feasibility, cost, time, and scope

· Research new features and technologies

· Fix production issues and maintain the code as needed

What do you need to succeed?

· 7+ years software development experience

· 5+ years experience implementing responsive designs for mobile, tablet, and desktop

· 3+ years experience building solutions with ReactJS
Experience building design and component libraries

· 2+ years experience with web accessibility standards and practices

· Experience aligning platform architecture with security and data

· Experience with unit testing frameworks

· Understanding of web application design principles such as usability, performance, and security

· Problem solving and troubleshooting skills

· Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with frequent production releases

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred skills

· Full stack Web developer experience

· Flexible and adaptable with the ability to align to changing priorities

· Adaptable to working on teams delivering in a Waterfall or agile style
