We are looking for an Accounting Assistant to perform daily accounting activities . Accounting Assistant responsibilities include accounts payable & Accounts receivable, reconciling bank statements, retrieving and posting of commission statements and monthly journal entries. If you have an Accounting degree or 5 years of bookkeeping experience and are interested in gaining experience in bookkeeping procedures, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help our Accounting department run smoothly, ensuring transparency and efficiency in all transactions.

Responsibilities

• Accounts payable & Accounts receivable
• Bank Statement monitoring and reconciliation
• Retrieving, posting and reconciling commission statements
• Prepare bank deposits
• Enter financial transactions into internal databases

Skills

• Work experience as an Accounting Assistant or Bookkeeper
• Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
• Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
• Hands-on experience with MS Excel, MS Word and accounting software
• Organization skills
• Ability to multi task and problem solve
• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
• BSc/Ba in Accounting, Finance or relevant field preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $47,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
