Director of Medical Education – 3PAs

Are you a forward-thinking, dynamic Consultant Psychiatrist interested in a senior educational leadership role? Do you have experience as a medical educator and recognise the importance of culture, engagement and nurturing the workforce of the future? The Cornwall Foundation Trust (CFT) medical directorate is expanding to offer this important senior medical educational and transformational role.

We are looking for a talented clinician and educator who will be responsible for the oversight and assurance of our medical education programmes. We wish to employ a substantive consultant with 3PAs dedicated to the DME role and further clinical sessions up to full-time. You will report to the Medical Director.

You will oversee the Department of Lifelong Medical Education, and working with Programme Leads and Clinical Tutors, you will assure the delivery of education in CFT for; Medical Students, Core Trainees, Physician Associates, Multi-Professional RCs and a CESR programme for IMGs. Our psychiatry and general practice trainees have high satisfaction and great exam success.
