Cornerstone Engineering Hiring for Senior Structural Engineer at Grand Rivers, KY Full Time

Cornerstone Engineering Inc. is seeking a full-time Structural Engineer, PE to lead to work on-site at the Kentucky Lock and Dam in Grand Rivers, KY. This position requires personell with a minimum of 10 years of enginering design and/or construction experience. This contract is for (3) base years with a (2) year option. The successful candidate must have a strong work ethic, integrity, and the initiative and experience to lead, strategize, and manage the practical aspects of civil engineering related services and projects from start to finish.

Preference will be given to personnel with demonstrated experience in (1) heavycivil construction with an emphasis on structural concrete, rebar, and formwork, (2) design and monitoring shop fabrication of welded steel structures, and (3) experience with review of construction lift plans involving cranes and rigging. (4) experience with reviewing contractor claims, reviewing as-built drawings, replying to contractor requests for information (RFIs), and experience with the Resident Management System (RMS), if any.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
• 10+ years of professional experience
• Liceseed PE
• Ability to communicate with all project stakeholders
• Must be a team builder.

Pay: $60.00 – $68.00 per hour
