Position Type: Civil Design Engineer

Salary Range: 65 to 85K

Location: Lehigh Valley Office – Allentown, PA,

Delaware Valley Office – Lansdale, PA

Center City Office – Philadelphia, PA

Overview:A/E firm seeking an experienced Civil Design Engineer with strong AutoCAD, with civil/survey software & communication skills. Position involves design and preparation of land development designs for commercial and residential projects.

Responsibilities:

• AutoCAD Civil 3D design/drafting for the preparation of site plans and conceptual layouts
• Commercial site and subdivision Plan Preparation
• Grading
• Storm water management
• Utility design
• Regulatory permitting
• Zoning review
• Site visits
• Meetings with municipal professionals
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (EIT or PE Preferred)
• 3-4 years of residential and/or commercial site design and permitting experience
• Effective written and communication skills
• Proficient with AutoCAD (Civil 3D Preferred)
• Knowledge of the planning and zoning process
• Self starter who can work independently and with team members
• Experience dealing with regulatory agencies and review professionals a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
