Job Summary
Under general direction, performs functions related to front desk activities including (but not limited to) : scheduling appointments, registration, billing functions, insurance authorizations, phone communications, data entry into Epic / Mosaiq data systems, Filing, scanning and retrieving medical records, faxing, copying, and collating correspondence.
The office assistant performs responsibilities in accordance with departmental procedures to ensure efficient front desk operations, which embody our service orientated philosophy and promotes patient / customer satisfaction.
