Coregas is owned by the Wesfarmers group. We manufacture gases locally and distribute throughout Australia, New Zealand and several export markets. Our compressed gases and cryogenic liquids are used for a range of applications including healthcare, welding, research, mining, construction, food & beverages and clean energy. About the position:

Reporting directly into the EGM, this role will be part of the SLT and be responsible for the commercial and financial management of the group.

This role leads a broad portfolio with a team of 30+ across Finance, IT, Customer Service & Analytics. Responsibilities include;

• Preparation of financial statements and managing the day-to-day accounting operations of the business
• Oversee high-performing team finance and services teams
• Providing commercial decision making, fact based insight support and governance to the business
• Providing business case and forecasting support to improve the financial outcomes reached by the business
• Leading a broader operational team of IT, Customer Service and data analytics leaders
• Sponsoring an ERP implementation (Business Central) to develop our ‘digital second’ capabilities

Who we’re looking for:

We’re looking for a highly engaging, values-based people leader with a minimum of 10+ years demonstrated broad commercial experience combined with strong experience leading a finance function. You will have completed tertiary qualifications in accounting and be CPA qualified, with post-graduate qualifications highly regarded.

You will bring with you demonstrated strategic planning, financial, advisory and operational management experience gained within an ASX listed company. You will have developed strong stakeholder management skills across business functions, have a solutions-oriented mindset with a natural tendency to seek continuous improvement and maintain best practice whilst ensuring optimal internal service delivery. You will have strong project management skills, with previous experience in ERP implementations.
